CSS Decryption Processes (copy-protection removal)
Most DVD movies today are encrypted with the Content Scrambling System (CSS) in order to prevent DVD duplication. Ideally, the DVD copying software will have a CSS decrypting feature built-in. However, some solutions provide links to an external decrypting utility instead which you will have to download. In the review above, we identify this feature with the terms below:

The software provides an easy link to an external CSS decryptor (copy-protection removal) which you must first download and install. You must first find, download and install an external CSS decryptor. Then, depending on which decryptor you use, there may be additional steps that you must complete for each DVD before you use the DVD copying software to compress and/or burn your copy.
