1Click DVD Copy from LG Software Innovations is an excellent DVD Copying product that simply copies a DVD with just one click. With its user-friendly interface, speed and great customer support, it is one of the best DVD copying products out there. The main difference between 1Click DVD Copy and our #1 product, DVD Cloner II, is that while 1Click DVD Copy provides an easy link to a CSS decryptor, DVD Cloner II has the CSS decryptor already bundled with it. If you don't mind downloading the CSS decryptor and want to save a little money, 1Click DVD Copy is the product for you.
Feature set:
1Click DVD Copy has a the feature set you will need for user friendly DVD copying. One feature that stands out is the ability to copy episodic DVDs. You can also backup a DVD to your hard drive instead of on a DVD. This is useful for laptops because it conserves battery power, and useful for creating movie archives for hard-disk based movie players. With this product you can make a large DVD fit on one blank DVD disc and even retain all the menus, bonus footage and audio languages. With the newest version you can also copy a DVD to a dual layer disk.
Ease of use:
One way that 1Click DVD Copy keeps its product user friendly is it chooses the compression options for you instead of having you confused with a bunch of customizing options. You just select your preferred language and it does the rest. If you like being able to customize your compression, however, you should look at DVD X Copy Platinum (see product comparisons) . In order to copy a DVD movie with 1Click DVD Copy, you must first download and install a separate utility to decrypt the CSS encryption. Once you do though, the process is as easy as one click.
Quality of copy:
The video quality is great. We didn't notice any visible quality degradation even when compressed.
Program stability:
1Click DVD Copy is very stable and appears to uses a well known DVD burning engine found in other top-selling DVD Copy software.
Summary:
1Click DVD Copy is an excellent option if you don't mind the extra step of downloading the CSS decryptor. However we should note that this is a step most DVD Copying software now require, including DVD X Copy.
