Clone DVD by DVD X Studios is a good DVD copying product that has a complete set of features along with a built-in CSS decryptor. It copies your original DVD movie, including the menus and extra footage, to a blank DVD disc in 3 easy steps.
Feature set:
Some of the key options that are available in Clone DVD include the ability to remove CSS encryption, make a DVD from VOB files on your hard drive, and the ability to copy all the menus, subtitles, bonus features, etc. to two discs, or just copy the main movie to a single disc.
Ease of use:
The program is very easy to use and understand with Clone DVD's new design in version 3.
Ease of installation & setup:
This product is very easy to install and comes with a CSS decryptor.
Quality of copy:
There is compression of the original DVD available with their newest version, so if you elect to copy your DVD to a smaller DVD 5 disc, you really can't tell much difference between that and the original. In addition, all of the menus and bonus materials were also copied flawlessly.
Program stability:
When we attempted to copy a movie using CloneDVD everything ran perfectly.
Summary:
Overall, Clone DVD is a good option for DVD Copying software. This product has made some major improvments since their last version. You are now able to copy your DVD's to a Dual Layer Disc, copy to smaller DVD5 or just remove all your menus and extras so that there is minimal compression with little loss of quality.
